I've never gotten the whole goodie bag thing for kids- you go to a party to celebrate someone elses bday... kids shouldn't expect to leave with something themselves as well. I don't think we'll be doing goodie bags or at least that is my current plan. Maybe there would be a craft or something instead at most, but even that who knows.

for the goody bags ive done i just buy the big bag of candy/toys (pinata filler) and split it up...plus the little bubbles

I let the kids decorate sugar cookies and take them for their goodie bags. It saved the hassle of buying a bunch of stuff for different ages of kids and it was something they could use...well eat...

We didn't do goody bags last year but there was only 3 kids there and they were all real young and didn't have a clue anyways

But I love goody bags

I remember being all excited to show my mom what I got when she would pick me up from a party. Its nothing big but its something!

We are playing a game to win a prize (The goody bag) I'm cutting out 6 colored monkeys for each kid (Each kid will have a color...Savannah/yellow, Lillie/ purple, Haley/red..etc) I will tape 5 of their monkeys around the house before they get here and when they come in I will tape the 6th Monkey to them and they will have to find the other 5 through out the party to get their goody bag at the end. Simple enough game for the younger ones and they don't have to be still and wait their turn and all that jazz that just wont fly with them

I was suppose to take Savannah to get her pictures taking this coming week but Dustin took her to best buy with him this afternoon and socked her on the side of the head with the door! Now she has a bruise on her cheek.

not a big deal - take her anyway

you saw the scratch on Sienna's face in the holiday pics - either her or I did that. crap happens and their kids so it's not a huge deal

I bought the goody bag bags

and the cake board because I trashed my other one when we moved.

We tested out this power wheels at toys r us and Savannah did great with it.

I haven't checked walmart but I will this weekend when we go food shopping.

My mom finished Savannah's party dress.

Its suppose to go with the whole monkey theme. I think it came out great.

Its a little big but it will be just fine!

Going to call when I get a chance tomorrow to make her picture appointment even though now she has a mark on her head from falling off my bed. She always does this when I have plans for pictures

We have a box that we took to my moms because it was taking up to much space. This one is smaller and hoping she wont sit in it that way it brings less sand in the house.
