I don't mind it cuz it's different than how it was with Sienna...

with sienna - she woke ever hour or two for a long time and due to that I'd sleep nurse - wake up with boob out etc

with camryn she only fusses - never fully wakes and isnt on boob longer than a few min so im up for that and then just go back to sleep. not a big deal really

that's what camden does, just wiggles but never wakes so i just plop a boob in his mouth , i just like to stay asleep to do everything...so moving back and forth annoys me. ive tried it on several occasions but resort back to him next to me. im hoping he starts sleeping thru then it will solve all lifes problems but who knows he didnt start wiggling till 5 this morning but nothing is ever consistent

Camryn was asleep for 7hrs before waking and I think she only woke because I poked her cuz I didn't believe the monitor and wanted to make sure she was breathing back out for another 2hrs then up.

idk but i dont think he's ever gonna sleep thru the night consistently. i really dont want weaning to be the key to sleeping thru the night but idk what else will be. we're gonna put the lil toddler bed in our room tonight and see how he does with his own space..sometimes i think our wiggling wakes him up.

space might be just what he needs. She's been sleeping better since going in the crib - as have I! but I still wouldn't trade early cosleeping for the world. It's easy and sweet.

She only woke once last night... 520 was the first time. Then she woke sometime when I was in the bathroom... so officially up between 730/8. Crazy how different her and Sienna have been sleep wise.

that's great that it worked for him Ashley. I know how you felt about worrying and wanting to check though - that's how I always was with Sienna if I'd put her in the crib cuz she woke every couple of hours it was odd having her in the crib away from me.

Camryn is sleeping so good in the crib... only wakes once or twice a night at most. The other night was odd for her where she woke earlier than usual in the night and then again earlier in the morning. Normally she'll sleep till between 4 and 530 for the first fuss moment. Crazy.

Sienna has been having a rough time lately going to sleep - complaining about the door needing to be opened and wanting a light on. So the other day we got her a special nightlight

It's working quite well. Josh still leaves the door open when she goes to bed but then I end up closing it most of the way before I go to sleep. It's kind of a bright light and I dont want it to bother Camryn if she were to stir and wake.

our monitor has a soft touch light we've always used. we also have princess string lights around her headboard...we used those for awhile but they were a tad bright so most of the time we just use the monitor light (dont use the monitor though)
