| The best of both worlds! Posts: 23,401 Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Florida | Yep he's only had breastmilk and sippies with water (besides a few sips of juice when he gets backed up). Havent put any milk in a cup for him yet. Here's a good article Baby Juice, Giving Your Baby Baby Juice and Juicing for your baby, is juice good for your baby? I guess it's all personal choice but IMO there's nothing in juice that a baby cant get from eating fruits and it's way healther to get the stuff that way. | Cupcake Queen | depending on the juice - no added sugar so the sugar content isn't different than what you'd get in straight fruit but it all depends greatly on the specific bottle of juice. I think it's good for kids to learn to like water anyway. A seriously ice cold glass of water is soooo good. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. | Cupcake Queen | sienna doesnt drink nearly as much as she did 6 months ago. each day is different though. these days a glass of milk in the morning with breakfast, then maybe 3 cups of juice/water mix - it's usually 70 water / 30 juice mix sometimes a bit more in the opposite direction just depends. | Cupcake Queen | Sienna will eat if she's hungry, she doesnt' snack a whole ton. If she doesnt finish her lunch, she doesnt get food till dinner. She seriously threw out practically all of her lunch the other day. Told her, too bad... no food till dinner. She's gotta learn.
