You know, I didn't think anything of it until you said something. I usually pay attention to that stuff but for some reason the blueberries went completely over my head.

We had pancakes with strawberries and cool whip. And bacon of course. mmm bacon.

not a big deal really as long as you pay attention. I was carefree about a lot too. I think blueberries might have been part of a multi flavor jar I gave her at one point too, so no biggie. Maybe when it's like that it isn't as big of a deal as when you give them real fruit? I duno.

Banana chocolate chip pancakes. Delicious but way too sweet. I think they would go great with salty bacon and next time I'll only eat two instead of four. BLEH! Oh and I'll cut the chips in half.

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 medium (1/2 cup) firm ripe banana, mashed
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup mini real semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat lightly greased griddle or skillet to 350ºF. or until drops of water sizzle. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add buttermilk, banana, egg and melted butter; beat with wire whisk just until smooth (batter will be thick). Stir in chocolate chips.

For each pancake, spoon 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle; spread to form 4-inch circle. (If batter is too thick, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons buttermilk.) Cook pancakes until bubbles form on top (2 to 3 minutes). Turn pancakes; continue cooking until browned (2 to 3 minutes). Keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter.

I'm so not a pancake fan... now waffles... I like waffles from time to time

did you leave chocolate chips out of one and give a banana pancake to Brady? I bet he might have liked it
