I'd still have to wait till this Saturday to use the 10day forecast. I've been trying to watch on accuweather since they have a 15day but that's even less accurate.

I definitely want to send it out by Saturday morning tho - give people time to rsvp and for us to get what supplies we'll need to pick up.

1 no - 1 maybe - 3 havent clicked the link yet - the rest have said yes. so i think the count is up to 16 or so right now?
seems like we'll have plenty of food too. everyone is signing up for stuff which is good. i got 3 packages of hot dogs today and a 20pack of frozen burgers. also got a package of ice pops mmmm. so i still need to get buns and rolls, ice and more burgers. then ill need to make cupcakes - gonna go the mini route i think though.

What was the website you did the evite thing thru? That sounds really cool- not that we ever have events

its neat cuz as a guest you get an email with a message that gives you a button to rsvp and by clicking that it takes you to the website for the event. depending on how you have it set up there are different options for rsvping, whats displayed on the site for guests to see, etc. i really like that people can leave msgs, share pictures, you can watch the yes/no/maybe count and that you can have a potluck list, etc. its working out really well. oooh plus theres a map and you can design lots of stuff about it. very cool and very easy to use.

some are using the site properly some aren't - i suppose its the same as any rsvp issue goes only this way the ones that use it right get all the extra details.

our definite # including us was 16 but is now down to 15 because one of joshs friends was planning on bringing his son but now wont be because he came down with symptoms of swine flu (or flu at least) after his school was closed due to kids having it

so 15 definites and 7 maybes so a total of 22 if everyone shows up.
i have 32 burgers/buns and 24 dogs/rolls. think thats enough?

i'll need to get a balloon or two on monday to put on the mailbox. we have 4 food nets, a tablecloth for the big food table, a vinyl tablecloth we can use for the square table we are putting by the pool (can use that for food this time or for people to eat at), plates, cups, napkins, kids plates, mustard, ketchup, relish, pickles, cheese, bug lanterns/lamps, salt, pepper, plasticware.
people are bringing chips, salad, pasta salad, potato salad, cookies, juice, soda and kids drinks. im making cupcakes.

are we missing anything?

oh yeah i have ice on the list plus balloons and tablecloth holders if i come across em without going back to salem (they dont have em at the grocery store so unless walgreens has em ill use tape).

Well...it looks like we're heading to my uncle/aunts in just a little big. Gonna visit- do hotdogs/hamburgers etc.
