the usualy - milks, cheeses, fruit, veggies, pasta, cereal, bread

however we won't be buying meat anymore from our regular store and I won't be buying fries or popcorn chicken anymore.

Wanna get potatoes to make homemade fries and stuff for special grilled cheese. maybe special flour for pizza dough and supplies for that. extra bread for french toast casserole maybe? or maybe not. and either stuff for cheesecake or cookies or cupcakes or two of those. stuff for salads. i have pictures in my head but im not entirely sure what to go with yet.

im struggling to come up with ideas for new meals right now that are good and not boring but dont require meat. i think we're going to do meat once or twice a week at most.

we dont buy fries i always do my own from potatoes...same with chicken tenders. anywho meatless stuff...pasta is always good....lots of casseroles you can do without meat, veggie soups and stews ect.

stews generally require meat - imo its not stew without it... it's soup. but soups can have meat. i can only eat so much pasta esp since the topping options seem so limited. we usually have alfredo once a week. and im game for an occasional mac n cheese but i dont want it every week.

my lasagna would be cheese and pasta if that's what you're getting at. I know you can do veggie lasagna but I'm looking more for meals that can have meat left out of them and it not make a difference. Like say - ceasar salad... can have chicken or not. Soups, can have meat or not.

How would you have a taco salad without meat? I've been trying to figure out a way to have tacos still but without worrying about it. I like the spice of the powder mix...which I know is loaded with sodium and crap so I should try to do one from scratch. But if you dont have meat how do you get the spice?

Remember (without judgement and attitude) I do not like tomatoes and there are other veggies I'm not interested in. others I'll eat depending on what its with.

yeah I had thought of that over the course of a lot of recipes including the ones my brother suggested. I just for some reason hadn't thought of that with tacos as a substitute but came across that as Ive been googling for recipes.

Ive only had chicken with alfredo at a restaurant, never at home.
We've only had beef or chicken (ground and pulled) in tacos. Ive never had beans in a recipe so I dont even know what to expect them to taste like - flavor, texture, etc. Do they *gasp* pop in your mouth? Are they squishy? Cuz I know you're suppose to cook em usually.
