We just got another HIGH electric bill IDK what's making it so high, but I told Christian tonight that the only time he could run his a/c upstairs was when he's up there- he can't leave it running... Its so crazy how high it jumped over the last month or two. I'm trying to get our lower by unplugging everything and doing laundry after 9pm (Rates are lower after 9). We will see next month if my effort pay off. |

Hmmm... I wonder if that's everywhere (lower rates after 9)... I just try and do stuff during the day since I'm so beat at night... I know too, every little bit probably adds up- just by having an extra person here- more dishes, laundry, a/c etc... but it's all good... yup we try to only run the dryer after 9 (but laundry gets back up lots), we air dry our dishes ect ect...just little things that hopefully help To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. My laundry will sit in the dryer until the next day. Like right now I have some in the dryer from last night waiting to be folded. I put the laundry on at 9 and it takes 30 minutes in the washer then I switch it to the dryer and forget about it until morning. On Saturday nights when I'm up later I get two loads done. I stay on top of it that way but if I miss a night I have to stay up a little later to squeeze two loads in The things we do to save a little money. |
