so last night... the wind wasn't THAT bad until it was getting late into the evening. headed upstairs to get ready for bed at 10. got into bed definitely by 1030 and the power went out ugh. wind was insane at that point. you could totally hear it just slapping the trees and branches breaking. thankfully no large limbs down around here, just lots of small ones. well... once josh finally got sienna to stay in her bed i asked him... is that lightning out there? nope... not lightning. transformers blowing up all over the place, lighting up the sky a blue color. finally got myself to fall asleep but it took a while. outside of the wind, the house was just too quiet. i sleep with a fan on. well come 230am i was woken up to a loud bang but i dont remember all of it. i know that i knew it was a nearby transformer. was awake again for a while and then back up at 430 when sienna woke up, wandered out of her room and yelled for josh. up again for a while (me)... once all was said and dont, me and the girls slept in till 10ish i figured, well thers nothing else to do and im tired so whatever. set up a little slumber party in the living room to keep warm - comforter, sleeping bag, pillows, blankets. we colored and played. etc etc at 1 a power truck drove by - not our company but they called in other states to help because the outages were pretty significant. they didnt stop  me and sienna went 'nooo come back!' an hour later they drove by again well 16hrs without power and it finally clicked on  the estimate on our power companies site this morning said it might take days so glad that wasnt the case for us. so i already mentioned Serenity eating more since we cut juice out of her diet...today she's been up for a lil over 2 hours and had a whole bowl of cereal, a banana, some baby cheeto cruncher things, and a fish patty....way more than me- i just had a small bowl of cereal so far To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
