My plan is primarily baking related (not sweets specific just cooking), but an occasional craft or other item or topic. But primarily baking/cooking.

Honestly the easiest user friendly - or reader friendly - way is to just check periodically manually.

I know that's what I do with blogs I frequent.

There doesn't appear to be an easy way to subscribe in a way I'd imagine would be ready friendly for most. The easiest method would honestly be to just check back in periodically for updates. So bookmark it and hit it up once or twice a week

I'm hoping to do at least that much... once or twice a week for new stuff. I've got two recipes up right now and am just deciding what to put up next. I have old stuff I can put up just to get some more content in there... which I may do.
